Founded by Sebastian Suppan in 2022, SUPPAN is a Vienna-based contemporary art gallery representing a roster of emerging, mid-career, and established international artists.

The gallery is dedicated to discovering and developing artistic talent, supporting each artist’s creative exploration through exhibitions and a range of collaborative projects. Its program spans a broad spectrum of contemporary practices—including painting, sculpture, and installation—with a particular focus on works that challenge and redefine traditional disciplinary boundaries while critically engaging with contemporary cultural, social, and economic issues.

Through solo exhibitions, curated group shows, institutional collaborations, and special projects, the gallery’s program is anchored in curatorial rigor and critical engagement, fostering meaningful dialogue across artistic disciplines, generations,  and cultures. Exploring new contexts for artistic presentation, the gallery initiates projects beyond its own space, engaging with unconventional locations. International art fairs form an integral part of the program, extending its curatorial approach to a wider international audience.

SUPPAN maintains close relationships with artists, curators, institutions, and collectors, providing curatorial guidance and advisory services for private and corporate art collections.
